Join the excitement at the 2nd annual The Wharf Uncorked Wine and Culinary Event in Orange Beach Alabama. The 3-day event features tastings of delicious food and tantalizing wines, live entertainment and a healthy dose of southern hospitality.

With over 150 labels on hand, guests have the opportunity to sample and purchase fine wines from respected vineyards - locally, domestically and internationally. Wine connoisseurs, collectors and enthusiasts will discover new favorites among the large variety wines available. Some of the top chefs on the Gulf Coast will put their culinary skills to use - enjoy intimate cooking demos, food tasting, cookbook signings and cooking competitions with veteran judges from around the area.

The Wharf Uncorked event includes silent auctions that benefit the Make A Wish foundation, wine auctions and sales and more! It's a fun weekend of wining and dining right here at The Wharf!

Head to Gulf Shores on the Alabama Gulf Coast this fall for the popular National Shrimp Festival presented by Zatarain’s and other sponsors, the fun event is held the 2nd full weekend in October on the beautiful whit-sand beaches in Gulf Shores, Alabama. The event is FREE to everyone! The Annual National Shrimp Festival is held at the public beach access in Gulf Shores where Hwy. 59 ends and intersects with Hwy. 182.

Enjoy fresh gulf seafood during this four-day outdoor event. This year the festival will play host to more than 80 hours of live musical entertainment featuring a lineup of national, regional and local performers. There will be musical acts to please all tastes, including Blues, Motown, Southern Rock, Jazz and Country. The music begins at 10 a.m. each day and runs through 10 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 5 p.m. on Sunday. The festival is one of the nation’s top fall festivals with over 300k people attending annually and more than 300 vendors of fine art, arts & crafts, a retail marketplace, outdoor village and plenty of shrimp! There are 2 stages featuring live music while the attention of smaller children is captured in the Children’s Activity Village where they can make “art” and enjoy other fun-filled activities.

Families can compete in the annual sand sculpture contest on Saturday and kids can take part in a variety of activities in the newly relocated Children's Activity Village, including face-painting, karaoke and more. Runner and walkers can compete in the 10K or 5K races to help burn-off some of the food being offered at the festival. Art lovers can browse nearly 200 booths of fine art and arts & crafts vendors.

2015 Hangout Music Festival, Alabama Gulf Coast

The Annual Hangout Music Festival in Gulf Shores, on the popular Alabama Gulf Coast beach, is an annual 3-day music festival held at the public beaches, the festival is the first and only music festival of it's type in N. America. Located directly on the white sandy beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama, the popular music festival treats guests to a unique experience and consistently features a variety of top touring performers.

The event features numerous genres of music, including rock, indie, hip hop, and electronic dance music. The main stages are the Hangout Stage and the Chevrolet Stage (located on opposite ends of the beach), as well as the Boom Boom Tent and more. The festival generally takes place on the third weekend in May. It is the first major music festival held at this beach resort in the city on the Gulf of Mexico.

The current lineup for 2015 includes, among many others:

Orange Beach Seafood Festival & Car Show, Alabama Gulf Coast

The Orange Beach Sports Association will host the 23rd Annual Orange Beach Seafood Festival is set for February 28, 2015, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm - don't miss a chance to visit Alabama's Gulf coast and enjoy fresh local seafood.  This festival is the Association's major fundraiser to support sports-related activities in our community, specifically youth baseball, softball and T-Ball.  Proceeds are used to purchase uniforms, equipment, insurance, and pay for expenses of officials and sponsor clinics.

The Festival is a full day of delicious food, 75+ arts & crafts vendors and music for the whole family.  This is an alcohol-free event.  The festival includes a silent auction, car show featuring antique, classic & hot rod vehicles, a Kids Zone with climbing wall, inflatables & games and also a children's performance pavilion. 

The festival will be held at the Event Center Grounds at The Wharf. Keep in mind that alcohol is not allowed at the festival.  The festival includes a silent auction, food booths, car show featuring antique, classic & hot rod. This festival, which attracts many visitors from around the country, features local seafood and high-end cars to benefit the Orange Beach Sports Association, specifically its youth activities so you can spend your day at the festival both enjoying yourself and knowing you're supporting local children.

The car show is part of the festival's main attraction - on a nice day, car enthusiasts will be able to see 100 cars or so, ranging from the classics to some modern marvels.

The 2014 Oyster Cook-off and Craft Beer Festival at the Hangout in Gulf Shores Alabama brings together celebrity chefs from across the U.S. as well as a long list of well-known Gulf coast restaurateurs of this popular event from Nov.7th to 9th, the event is presented by Alabama Gulf Seafood.

Baumhowers Shrimp and BarBQ Fest, Gulf Shores, Gulf State Park
