2015 Hangout Music Festival, Alabama Gulf Coast

The Annual Hangout Music Festival in Gulf Shores, on the popular Alabama Gulf Coast beach, is an annual 3-day music festival held at the public beaches, the festival is the first and only music festival of it's type in N. America. Located directly on the white sandy beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama, the popular music festival treats guests to a unique experience and consistently features a variety of top touring performers.

The event features numerous genres of music, including rock, indie, hip hop, and electronic dance music. The main stages are the Hangout Stage and the Chevrolet Stage (located on opposite ends of the beach), as well as the Boom Boom Tent and more. The festival generally takes place on the third weekend in May. It is the first major music festival held at this beach resort in the city on the Gulf of Mexico.

2014 Oyster Cook-off & Beer Festival

The 2014 Oyster Cook-off and Craft Beer Festival at the Hangout in Gulf Shores Alabama brings together celebrity chefs from across the U.S. as well as a long list of well-known Gulf coast restaurateurs of this popular event from Nov.7th to 9th, the event is presented by Alabama Gulf Seafood.

Friday Nov 7th : Craft Beer Festival Kickoff Party
    Kick off the weekend right!
    Try over 60 beers from more than 25 craft brewers.
    Live music from the Mulligan Brothers, Steelism and a national act to be announced.
    Great opportunity to meet the chefs and brewers.
    Beer tasting tickets are just $25.
    This is an event for adults.
    Includes admission, unlimited beer tastings and music all night long.
    Festivities start at 6 pm on Friday.

Saturday Nov 8th : Oyster Cook-off | Free To the Public
    Sample an incredible selection of oysters prepared by the Nation's hottest chefs.
    Chefs will compete in three categories for the best oyster, taste them all.
    Free admission to the public. Purchase tasting tickets to use in exchange for oysters, craft beer, wine, moonshine and champagne.
    Enjoy live music, an oyster shucking competition, cooking demos and more.
    Help us crown the nation’s best oyster in our “Blind Oyster Taste Test”.
    Football fans won't miss a game. Relax and watch your favorite team in one of our sports viewing lounges or inside the Hangout.
