Annual Kenny Vines Billfishing Tournament, Orange Beach AL
The Sportsman Marina is again hosting the Annual Kenny Vines Memorial Billfishing Tournament in Orange Beach Alabama, on Sept. 26, 2015. A billfish sculpture will be also auctioned off at the 2015 tournament, the sculpture is on display at the Tiki Bar at Sportsman's Marina.
Kenny Vines was reliable supporter of the Billfish Foundation; therefore, all proceeds from this fishing event will be donated to the Billfish Foundation. Last year the tournament raised several $1000's for that worthy cause.
Kenny Vines, also know as 'KV' to many, enjoyed living in Orange Beach AL for over 30 years; he was the owner/operator of KV Yacht Brokerage and was an avid sport-fisherman, maintaining active memberships in the Pensacola and Mobile Big Game Fishing Clubs. He was an active advocate of the Coastal Conservation Association, The Billfish Foundation and the Orange Beach Sport Fishing Club..
Kenny was a huge supporter and advocate for the Billfish Foundation and all proceeds from this fishing event will be donated to the Billfish Foundation. Make plans to participate in this outdoor memorial event.
