The classes are great for a variety of ages, as participants have ranged in age from 11 to 72. Becky Harger with Water Warrior out of Pensacola Beach has been conducting the classes at the new center, located directly behind the Orange Beach Public Library on Wolf Bay.
There are two remaining classes scheduled in the coming weeks. The lesson includes learning different paddle strokes, stances, launchings, maneuvers, and safety skills. After the initial lesson, participants will be led on an excursion in Wolf Bay. Boards, paddles and ice water are provided.
