Giant Insects will feature six oversized animatronic bugs, three giant mechanical insect heads, an insect art gallery and a live insect zoo. The exhibit will give visitors an up-close and personal look at some of life's tiniest creatures including a Chinese Praying Mantis, a Swallowtail Butterfly Caterpillar, two Rhinoceros Beetles, a Desert Locust and a Stick Insect. The robotic bugs in Giant Insects move mechanically to show their behaviors, such as the locust spreading its wings to take flight. A live bug zoo will also be featured in the exhibition, allowing guests to see the critters at their regular size. There will also be photo opportunities and many other hands-on games and activities including live insect eating contests to win prizes.
