A Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge trail familiar by day becomes a whole new experience at night when the refuge offers a 7:30 p.m. hike on Aug. 30. The guided group will meet at the Jeff Friend Trail parking lot before embarking on hike to engage the senses.
All ages are welcome. The one-mile trail is handicapped accessible. The tours are free to the public, but reservations are required. Closed-toed shoes, long pants, and bug spray are recommended.
