A large family room provides you plenty of room for vacationing and entertaining during a fish fry or hamburger cookout with the kids. The cheery and colorful kitchen provides a wealth of space to set out a feast of hour'devors for the quick, constant desire for snacks, while enjoying the sun, sand, and surf. Imagine how relaxing it would be to enjoy a freshly brewed iced tea on the deck, while watching the dolphins swim across the water at dusk and hearing the children frolicking in the sand below. During the hot afternoon, let you children play underneath our beach house (cottage) in the shade. Feel free to bring all your fishing gear and make use of the public fishing piers located on the island.
A short drive or jog will take you anywhere you need to go. Our rental house "Conch Shell" is found a half mile from the end of the island, where a least a mile of untouched beach is situated. Located down the road, the Estuarium lets you explore the deep waters of Mobile Bay and the reefs of the Gulf of Mexico, while educating even the most knowledgeable on marine life.
A short drive leads to the Historic Fort Gaines, the Shrimp Docks, the Bay Ferry, and The Isle Dauphine Public 18 Hole Golf Course.
